MyMedikoz – User Data Deletion Policy

At MyMedikoz, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal information. If you wish to delete your account or request the removal of your personal data from our systems, you can do so at any time by following the steps below.

How to Request Data Deletion

Option 1: In-App Request

  1. Open the MyMedikoz App

  2. Go to Profile → Settings → Account

  3. Select Delete Account

  4. Confirm the deletion request

Once confirmed, your account and all associated data will be deleted from our servers within 30 days.

Option 2: Email Request

You can request account and data deletion by sending an email to:

Please include:

  • Your full name

  • The phone number or email registered with your MyMedikoz account

  • A clear statement that you want your data permanently deleted

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you request deletion, we will remove:

  • Your account profile information

  • Medical records stored under your account

  • Consultations, chats, lab requests, and related activity history

  • Health forum activity

  • Saved health data and settings

What Data May Be Retained Temporarily

Certain information may be retained for legal, compliance, or fraud-prevention purposes, such as:

  • Transaction/payment records

  • Required medical invoices

  • Regulatory-required health documentation

These are securely stored and automatically deleted when no longer legally needed.

Processing Timeline

  • Data deletion begins immediately after verification

  • Full removal is completed within 60 days

  • You will receive a confirmation once the process is complete
